Il rained for six days. But the last day, friday very little. In the evening the river Bandiat had flooded the field near our house and steps near the bridge of Javerlhac had disappeared under the water. This morning, when I wanted to take some pictures, where was hardly any water left in the field, and the first two steps of the stairs could be seen.
Explanation: The Bandiat is a losing stream. We are on the karst of La Rochefoucauld and in the rock are lots of small hoes where the water disappears. Part of the river flows under earth and is reappearing near Angoulême with the new name Source de la Touvre.
